About

In the years since their formation on the Central Coast of Australia, Malakye Grind has charged into the rock scene with a distinctive blend of hard rock, grunge, and alternative rock. Known for their intense sound and dynamic stage presence, the band has achieved growing acclaim, particularly following the release of their single, Into the Night. This track offered a taste of what was to come from their highly anticipated 11-track album, Dystopian Dream. Mixed by renowned Australian producer Forrester Savell, the album digs deep into the band’s punk and hard rock roots, delivering their most forceful work yet.

Malakye Grind’s 2021 debut full-length LP, Music for Midnight People, also produced by Savell, showcased the band’s sonic versatility and cemented their position on the international stage. Their single Watch Them Burn gained widespread airplay, while another track, Wanna Party, found placement in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, as well as various European and Australian media outlets.

Signed to the UK-based label Extreme Music, Malakye Grind continues to take their explosive sound even further with Dystopian Dream, blending raw energy with thoughtful production to create a darker and dynamic thrilling ride into the unknown.

“Dystopian Dream is the reflection of our world—a wild, uncharted landscape of hope and decay,” says the band. “We’re staring into the storm, embracing the chaos, and chasing the music through the madness.”
